		<description>The idea is if they do not ask, then they do not need it. If you do see potential to work together, then yes ask for their card but do not give them your card unless they specifically ask for your card.  </description>

I&#039;d also add &quot;Don&#039;t be a Hit and Run&quot; and &quot;Always Follow-up&quot; especially when you&#039;ve offered to help others connect or promised to forward some info or a link. Bottom-line: do what you say you are going to do while networking! BTW, I just wrote a book that your readers might be interested in which covers this topic - it&#039;s titled, &quot;I&#039;m at a Networking Event--Now What???&quot;
